COVID-19 Rules and Protocols- Moncton Golf and Country Club
FACILTIES THAT ARE CLOSED OR SERVICES THAT ARE UNAVAILABLE
⦁ No access to the clubhouse
⦁ No club storage
⦁ No lockers
⦁ No towel service
⦁ Practice areas and putting greens are closed- Do not practice on the course
⦁ No scorecards will be provided
⦁ Power carts restricted to one person with the exception of persons living in the same household
⦁ No push cart rentals-member owned push carts are permitted
⦁ There will be no accessories on the course, this includes ball washers, rakes, benches
⦁ There will not be any potable water on the course
⦁ No walk-ons
⦁ No portable washrooms on site
⦁ No beverage cart
⦁ Tee times must be booked online and can be booked 4 days in advance, There will be no refunds, however rain checks will be issued in case of rain or course closure.
⦁ Green fees may be booked by non-members the day of play pending availability
⦁ When booking, indicate if you require a power cart
⦁ Tee times will be 20 minutes apart
⦁ Member’s names must be on the tee sheet in order to play
⦁ Member’s are encouraged to bring their own hand sanitizer
WHAT TO EXPECT WHEN ARRIVING TO PLAY GOLF
⦁ Arrive no more than 15 minutes prior to your tee time
⦁ Park double spaced
⦁ Wait in your vehicle until 5 minutes before your tee time
⦁ A staff member will meet you on the first tee to provide you with guidance and answer any questions
ON THE COURSE
⦁ Groups will be asked to keep no less then ½ hole between their group and the group ahead and behind them
⦁ Any sand trap will be played as ground under repair
⦁ Golfers must leave after their round is completed
⦁ Groups must not congregate on the course
⦁ Players should putt continuously
⦁ Do not touch the flagstick
⦁ Dispose of your personal garbage, receptables will be available on hole 4 and 14 and near the clubhouse
⦁ Washrooms in the clubhouse will be open but will only be accessible through the back door. Apply hand sanitizer upon entering the clubhouse. Only one person is permitted in the washroom. Please wait in designated area, marked with an X if washroom is occupied.
⦁ The Pro shop will be closed to members but if you wish to make a purchase please call the shop and your order will be waiting for you upon arrival.
⦁ The driving range will be open but there will be no walk-ons permitted. Please call the Pro Shop to book and pay for 30 or 60 minute intervals. Your bucket of balls will be sitting outside of the Pro Shop.
⦁ Limited Food and Beverage Service will be available in the Barbeque Pit area next to hole 9, serving sandwiches, snacks, beverages including beer, hard liquor drinks and wine to go. One customer will be served at time allowing for physical distancing.
⦁ PLEASE BE REMINDED THAT COOLERS WITH ALOHOLIC BEVERAGES ARE NOT PERMITTED ON THE GOLF COURSE
PUBLIC HEALTH GUIDELINES FOR MEMBERS AND GUESTS
⦁ If you are experiencing the following symptoms, do not come to the club and play golf:
Fever, a new onset of cough, sore throat, headache, runny nose, fatigue, muscle pain, diarrhea, loss of taste and smell
⦁ Always maintain a minimum of 2 meters, or 6 feet, between yourself and others, except for people living in the same household
⦁ No congregating in groups on the premises
⦁ Practise frequent and proper hand hygiene by thoroughly washing your hands with soap and hot water or use a minimum of 60% alcohol-based hand sanitizer
⦁ Practice proper respiratory hygiene. When you cough or sneeze, do so into your elbow or sleeve
COVID-19 PROTOCOLS FOR SANITIZATION
⦁ Disinfecting of high touch areas such as door handles, handrails, light switches, faucet handles, washroom stall handles, countertop and PIN PADS will be wiped down on a routine basis consisting of 30 minute intervals or more depending upon frequency, using only approved hard -surface disinfectants that have a drug identification number
⦁ Entrances to the Clubhouse washroom and the Pro Shop will have hand sanitizer available for application upon entrance and departure.
⦁ Carts used by members and guests will be sanitized after each use.
