This is a relatively easy opening hole to start out your round at MGCC. There is out of bounds down the right side, but plenty of room to miss left. The ideal spot to approach the green is from a plateau that is 70 to 120 yards short of the green. Players going for the green off the tee run the risk of ending up in the gully just short of the green leaving a blind pitch shot to the green.

Once on the green make sure to leave your ball below the hole as the green slopes severely from back to front and anything above the hole brings three putting into the mix.
